After an incredibly successful year of mobilizing volunteers and resources to support numerous direct service organizations in our community, we have received many accolades.
But amidst the praise, we've also heard a universal plea for dedicated support for the staff and lead volunteers who may be growing weary, frustrated, and potentially nearing burnout.
We've listened closely to this appeal, and we're thrilled to announce our response: the launch of Soul Care: Tending to Those in Helping Professions.
Soul Care will offer a range of supportive initiatives, including tailored retreats for non-profit outreach organizations and personalized one-on-one support. Plus, we're in the process of developing two comprehensive courses: one focused on soul care for all, and another—WayPoint Discernment—specifically designed for nonprofit leaders and clergy navigating times of transition or seeking respite.
We're excited to start this work and share it with you. Join us as we passionately lean into this request from our community partners and cast a vision for the transformative impact Soul Care can bring.
Let's nurture not just the work we do, but also the souls that drive it.
"Tending to those in Helping Professions."
We're retooling to serve as a Soul Care Practitioner for individuals in social service fields, including outreach workers, case managers, caregivers, clergy, educators, first responders, and other non-profits.
This will involve offering Soul Care and Discernment Work, including Pastoral Counseling, Spiritual Direction, Experiential Facilitation, Enneagram Work, and more.
We're currently developing specific curriculum to support these amazing individuals —a comprehensive eight-week Soul Care course and WayPoint Discernment process, tailored for nonprofit leaders and clergy during moments of transition or respite.
We are also introducing a Soul Care Retreat

Way Point Discernment is a specialized program created to support individuals in Non-Profit Leadership and Clergy. While adaptable for any point, it is intentionally crafted for moments of transition and respite. We achieve this through Accompaniment, Discernment, and Guidance, ensuring a meaningful and impactful experience during periods of transition and renewal.
"Soul Care weaves together contemplative practices, mindfulness, breath work, values assessment, and self-awareness. This holistic approach is dedicated to supporting individuals on the front lines of direct services, with a keen focus on nurturing their well-being at the very core of their existence."
"Soul Chaplaincy intertwines spiritual formation, spiritual direction, and pastoral care, while incorporating experiential facilitation and discernment. Carefully crafted to support individuals engaged in direct social services and volunteerism, it offers a comprehensive approach to nurture their spiritual well-being."
"Guided Group Sessions serve as a small retreat for your team, whether composed of staff or volunteers. These sessions engage the group in contemplative and reflective practices, allowing time for solo processing. It's an opportunity to step away, breathe, and discover the importance of self-care."
